About Us
For 18 years, our family was blessed to live with a special Cat named Mookie. From our earliest years to parenthood, Mookie gave unconditional love and affection.
He spent most of his days sleeping and spending time with family. When we left home, we joked Mookie was causing mischief. We joked that he'd walk on two feet and cook his own food. We'd go as far as saying he'd have friends over and have the wildest parties while we were gone.
In 2020, we welcomed our daughter Stevie into the world. Mookie cared for her like an older brother. We knew Mookie couldn't be around to watch Stevie grow up — he'd already done this for us.
We wrote this book to tell Mookie's story to Stevie and to give Mookie the chance to bring joy to children everywhere, the same way he did for us all these years. This publication is a dedication to the loved ones in our lives, Stevie and Mooks.
